Jackie Robinson Stealing Home, 1952

Baseball Hall-of-Famer Jackie Robinson was not only gifted with incredible athletic skill; he also had the amazing courage to challenge the racial status quo. Robinson changed history by becoming the first 20th-century African-American to compete in the majors, win the MVP award and be recognized by the Hall of Fame. Playing for the Dodgers, he suffered brutal scorn to eventually break down the walls of segregation on the field.
